Fun in the sun with way too many buns

Yesterday we packed up all of the onery children and went down to Waterworld in Concord. Of course after three weeks of 100+ degree weather it was a balmy 76 on the day we go to the slides. Anyway, if ever I forget how diverse California is all it takes is to go some place like the water park, or just somewhere public (like our court) to be reminded. Not that I mind the diversity a whole lot, its just that there seems to be a tendency for many of our ethnicities to wear their swim shorts quite oversized. This phenomenon combined white the forces of gravity and hydraulics make for seeing way more dark bun's that I really care to see. Of course this may not only be a minority issue, there were several white boys with their shorts riding low as well. Maybe its an age problem. Despite the aforementioned concerns we had a lot of fun riding the slides and putting our necks out. There was a new ride called the tornado that was our favorite slide. I thought it should be named the drain or the toilet bowl or something that had to do with water. Since it is a water ride and tornados are more an air thing. Anyway we had fun and survived to fight another day. FHP
