Spodee's End
Okay, here's the story. on Oct. 7th princess was driving spodee to her soccer game, at the home of the indians, she was about to the intersection where happy steak used to be. ( the older dub children may remember the cow's head with an H on it logo all over the table tops. or it may have just been a little cow's head and the H was dancing and smiling, presumably because he liked steak.) Anyway, she was following a car and was in a little bit of a rush and was singing to her teenager music, when a car merged between her and the car that she was following, just as the car merged the first car had to hit it's brakes to avoid someone in the cross walk. well princess just didn't have room to stop, and ran up under the bumper of a toyota highlander. minor scratches on his car and a mashed front end for spodee.

Being as spodee was only worth aroun $1,000/$1,500 and it was going to cost btw $2,500/ $3,800 to fix we decided that we would just buy a new car. Now mind you this is not princess's car, she will just be driving it, helping with insurance, and puting gas in it. After much internet searching and car salesmen dogeing, and driving up to Sac. to drive cars we found a Hundayi santa fe, 02 for a good price. It has the saftey features that we wanted and has a little more size that spodee did. I seems that it will be a good car.

so that is the story of how one little car brought the first born grandchild home from the hospital and was finally finished by that same lovely child 16 years later.
Ode to Spodee
Spodee you were our first car
you drove us all so far
you carried mother to be
you made us so happy
you had a lot of zip
but gave the cops the slip
your paint of gold
alas you're old
your seats are worn
our hearts are torn
since it must be
we will miss our spodee
